Well, we’re 5 days into this new year. As I write this, I’m sitting in a crowded Starbucks, drinking my favorite sugar-filled latte. This is about the time when most people have gone back to drinking soda, given up on the gym, and broken other corny resolutions.

Today was the first day of my junior year at Auburn! I felt led to share the entry from my prayer journal. I think this is a great prayer for anyone, anytime, but especially for students going back to school. Join me in prayer, and let’s make this a year where God’s glory is displayed every day!

Two things that I love are making lists and setting goals. “Notes” is one of the most used apps on my iPhone because I make lists for everything. Blame it on Type-A personality or an obsession with organization, but I feel compelled to constantly make to-do lists and lists for things I need to buy/bring/remember/etc. I just don’t want to forget anything!
