Walking by Grace

I hope these blogs challenge, inspire, and encourage you in your daily Christian walk.

A White-and-White Issue

I am currently at a crossroads in my life, one that is familiar to many people- what to do after graduation. College is an amazing time of learning and having fun and finding out who you really are and what you want in life. However, that doesn’t make the post-graduation time seem any less blurry. New Year, New Season, Same Coffee

Well, we’re 5 days into this new year. As I write this, I’m sitting in a crowded Starbucks, drinking my favorite sugar-filled latte. This is about the time when most people have gone back to drinking soda, given up on the gym, and broken other corny resolutions.

Why You Won’t See My Bible on Social Media

I’m getting ready to share something that is going to step on some toes. Many people are going to disagree with me. Others are going to think I just don’t “get it.” However, I’ve really felt convicted about this issue, and I feel the need to point it out.

Wild Love

Have you ever read a quote, saw a picture, or heard a song that really just took your breath away for a minute? That’s how I felt about this song. I heard it for the first time last week, and it’s been on my mind since then. Continue reading “Wild Love”

To The Girl Who Was Told She Isn’t Good Enough

This blog is to the girl who was told she isn’t good enough,

the girl who was rejected by a job/opportunity,

the girl who was dumped by her boyfriend,

the girl who was picked last,

the girl who listened to the mean girls,

the girl who let others state her value. Continue reading “To The Girl Who Was Told She Isn’t Good Enough”

Back-to-School Prayer

Today was the first day of my junior year at Auburn! I felt led to share the entry from my prayer journal. I think this is a great prayer for anyone, anytime, but especially for students going back to school. Join me in prayer, and let’s make this a year where God’s glory is displayed every day!

The Necessity of Little Deaths

In a recent blog, I wrote about how good things are not always good things; sometimes we have to let go of things/people/places that were once great because God is no longer calling us to those things. I wanted to continue writing about sacrifices with a little help from Elizabeth Elliot: Continue reading “The Necessity of Little Deaths”

101 in 1001

Two things that I love are making lists and setting goals. “Notes” is one of the most used apps on my iPhone because I make lists for everything. Blame it on Type-A personality or an obsession with organization, but I feel compelled to constantly make to-do lists and lists for things I need to buy/bring/remember/etc. I just don’t want to forget anything!
